    I just saw a video and they're different that pink monster in SMG is a bittle looking enemy while the one in SLW is a worm.

    Didn't we already said on this thread what they could unlock?
    I'll go check the past pages and see if Sky posted a link to IGN that had information on what the red rings should unlock.

    No they just say that the Red Rings can unlock stuff, they're not suppose to spoil what they unlock, that's for us to find out.

    It will probably unlock new moves or something, maybe even special levels, hopefully it won't be like Sonic 4 where all you get is a pointless achievement.

    No they specifically said that sonic will learn new moves as he progress through the levels.
    Did anyone else notice that there is no light dash or grinding in the videos? Also the Wii U allows you to homing attack all enemies automatically when you've locked on to a one enemy. Whereas on the 3ds you have to do homing attack manually for each enemy.
