Sonic Dash is not exactly like this.
You don't rub your finger rapidly to make Sonic run.
There's no obstacles in this prototype.
It may have the same level as Sonic Dash, but it's nothing like it.
If anything, it was a demo SEGA made to show off how the DS handles Sonic's speed and model.

This probably if anything was more of a beta to sonic rush in a way. You can never be too sure.

I still think it was just SEGA showing off Sonic on the DS.

If this was so successful (as in sonic actually being in 3D on a DS) then why wasn't any other games made in 3D featuring sonic using the DS features(besides the obvious mario and sonic titles).

You do know that the DS has many limitations, yes they could make a really nice 3d sonic game on it but there will always be a certain problems for example framerate issues are probably number one on the list, then glitches would come next.

But there are many 3D games on the DS though so this can prove that if what mario 64 DS can be in fully 3D on a DS then a 3D sonic title could've been.

That's true, I don't think that they couldn't make this game properly on DS, they just didn't want to.

Just a bunch of errors, at least this proved that sonic can be in a 3D game on a DS, so technically this was the first 3D handheld sonic game...
