In case you didn't know, DuckTales was orginally a Disney cartoon (an excelent one may I add, it still holds up today, imo) and then turned into an NES game of the same name (that I proudly own), that later got a sequel.
DuckTales the game was a really good platformer for the NES, the gameplay was great and fresh (the pogostick type mechanic was really cool), the graphics were colorful and nice to look at (the enviromnents looked awesome) for an 8-bit game, the music was top notch and the game was recieved with overall excelent scores.
Now, this year, a remaster was announced with a really cool trailer (I've watched it non-stop and sang along to the cartoon opening a lot...), and everyone got excited. The characters looked in a Paper Mario fashion and the animations looked great, not to mention how the enviromnents looked and everything in general.
And so yesterday (14th of August) the game came out in the PSN and Steam (the XBLA version coming out today the 15th of August).
All in all, I just wanted to post this thread to maybe encourage people to buy the game, it's one of the best platformers out there, and it should not be missed if you like that genre.
I still haven't played the remastered version yet, but I can't wait to buy it when I get the money.

Now Capcom, how about a sexy Final Fight Remastered? No? Ok...
