It's been time since I've played it before, but this latest version is the final version of Super Mario Bros Crossover! It has more characters you can play as in Mario levels too, but that's not all! You can change the map skins in not only just Mario, but Zelda maps as well! There's plenty of options you can set in the game too and you can unlock cheats you can use in the game! Of course, you can lock frame rate, enable cheat notify, full screen mode and enable tutorials for those who don't know how to play one of those characters before! You can even change the interface and enemy skins as well, but even there's a game boy filter mode too!
First thing you go to New Game, you'll see settings that you can set before you start the game. You can set the map to SMB, All night SMB, or Lost levels! And also, you can change the map difficulty between easy, normal and hard. And the reason why the game mode is set to all characters is because in case if you die in any level, you can switch to another character before trying again unless you put single character. As for more settings, you can change your set of lives, whether to start with a mushroom, change your attack strength, and you can also set to loose all upgrades, loose some upgrades, keep most upgrades or instant death when you're hit! You can change your item drop rate, but there's also a setting that you can set to Piranha Plants appearing in every, single, pipe. Even you can change your enemy's speed to normal, slow or fast!
