View Full Version : Should Operation: R.E.Q.U.I.E.M. be continued?

Well, I dunno. This subject has always been crossing my mind but I've just never felt motivated enough to be able to bother continuing it or not, considering that most people who were in the original don't seem to show up anymore I'm not 100% sure if this'll work or not. Feel free to discuss bout this if you like, or not.

You'd need a dedicated number of people ahead of time, given you need a decent number of posters for a story thread like that, I'd be in, if those conditions were met.

If you were to start it up again, I would say that you start afresh. I would actually join the story this time and not drop out right at the beginning (like last time).
Plus that story thread actually made many users become more active around the site.

Personally, if we're restarting it, any ideas on a new title? I've got a few in mind but not exactly sure if to use for now or sometime later.

I'd be happy to join again, under a different character, probably. Rex is an embarrassing mary-sue character, and I kind of want to distance myself from him.

Bah! I suck at coming up with new names...
Any title that I think of keeps having the word "requiem" in it (e.g. The Last Requiem, Soul Requiem, etc).

The Last Requiem sounds like a cool name to me. B)

But won't that sound like it's the only story involved in it or something? It's not bad but seems a little off to me.

Yeah it does, which is why my mind is flipping out right now <(>,<)>

So here's a title: "Code of Law: A Kingsman's Rule"
I even thought of a little story to go with it :]

Intresting..well now it would seem the only thing stopping this plan from being set into motion is the amount of people it would seem.

I guess, I might as well spam their user page till they join.
But honestly I have an idea for advertising this to draw in some of the lurkers, however I feel like I need to think it over for a day. I would rather go into full detail tomorrow because I'm tired from sh*tposting on some people's VM pages.

I'd like to join.
....Maybe.

I was going to suggest having certain scenes drawn out to emphasize how serious a certain part of the story is. I'd feel more obligated to try and handle this (as practise). I feel kind of silly saying this...
After all this is only a quarter of the idea, I still need to find where the rest went.

Well, I'm down with anything as long as it doesn't make the same mistakes the previous stories made. Also the more the merrier.

Then there's the SRB2 syndrome: "where one user says he'll do something and then forgets about it, gives it up or passes his/her idea on to another person." I've seen this happen tons of times on both sites, I've even been a sufferer of this.

Hence the reason why the next time I post in this thread, it has got to be special.

Meh. It's all good. I don't really know if this whole thing will work out in the end anyways but then again it's better to at least believe then to just give up

Not giving up, I given up way too many times now. The only problem I have is time management.
