It still bugs me how Sonic has generations graphics and everything around him is cartoony and classic.
But nonetheless, yay?
They're not recycling...it's been 10 years since Heroes, the last real full-fledged casino level, so I doubt they're recycling the assets from Heroes...
The Wii U is pretty powerful. SEGA is blending the classic and modern era togeher rather beautifully.
I forget if this was mentioned but you can use the super peelout in Lost World.
Sky is pretty much right, everything after heroes was either a renake or a carnival.
Also," super peelout"? I hope it makes up for the other losses with Sonic's speed.
From what I see from those screenshots, Theres a slot machine and some chips, which we're both present in Heroes as a mechanic.
Like I said ,Recycled.

Not to mention that horrid pinball crap.
Is this where the "Deadly" Six go for their pasttime?
Sonic 2 had a casino, so did Sonic 3, and Sonic Adventure, just because this game is similar to the Sonic heroes style casino aesthetically, does not automatically mean it's a freakin clone.
Well then SEGA needs new material, they cant use old mechanics anymore, isn't this the Lost Hex? where the world is supposedly unique in its own way?
Looking at the Sonic Lost World Color Power trailer now, that " ASTEROID " wisp reminds me of my own Asteroid wisp of my own I made that was meant to be a fan made wisp just before THAT became one of Official fan character wisps now. Now I can't even ever show my asteroid wisp around anyone or anywhere at all. People would just be thinking I've been ripping off the name of Asteroid from that " Asteroid " wisp now. Just. Fucking. Wow. Then again I never used that fan character wisp in a long while.

This Casino Night styled level is apparently an act in a larger zone called the Frozen Factory Zone. I love how many different tropes there are. Seems like the "zones" are incredibly general descriptors, allowing Sonic Team to stick a ton of varying types of levels in the game...simply beautiful.
