Does anyone else think that these "metal" characters could have simply been unlockable skins for the regular characters, and that they were made for the sole reason of making the character roster seem bigger?
Metal Mario is actually okay, but the Metal Peach is dumb.
Like the baby characters, Baby Mario/Luigi are "okay" but baby peach/daisy/rosalina (FTW) are... dumb.
And yes, this should be reskins of the original characters, I agree with you!

This is the VERY first time I've ever dodged a freaking blue shell.
You guys should've been aware that Baby Princess Peach already appeared in one of those Yoshi's Island series before, like Yoshi's Island DS. Especially Mario & Luigi Partners In Time. So it's not really THAT pointless to add her in. The metal and baby characters for certain characters are like, "Oh you wanna play a light weighted Mario? Play as Baby Mario!" and "You wanna play as the heavy weighted Mario? Play as METAL MARIO!". Heck it'd be interesting to see if that physics logic can ALSO work on the next Sonic & SEGA All Stars Racing game just by adding Classic Sonic, Classic Tails, Rosy The Rascal (AKA Classic Amy), Classic Knuckles & Metal Sonic (Or just Classic Metal Sonic even though they look the same except height).
People are saying that 150cc is the easiest thing in this game. I can't even get 1 star on ANYTHING. I have to cheat by using high acceleration and low speed so the AI don't shoot in front of me.
