    SEGA and Nintendo have worked together multiple times in the past (for more than just Sonic too, F-zero GX for example)
    And I have seen some Capcom games on Nintendo consoles as well, meaning that they are affiliates already, compared to say Nintendo trying to get a VIZ Media Character, when they have little to no contacts to the anime industry aside from their own animes (like Pokemon)

    Some things I think are worth discussion:
    -Do you think Stage Builder will return/be revamped?
    -Do you think Mii's might make an appearance at all?
    -How long do you think before modders get some good mods out?
    -Do you think this will have as much hype for the 3DS version as Pokemon X/Y did?
