In good games like Megaman X5 you had a different variety of endings there is one where you succeed in destroying the space colony and the one where you fail, that besides the different character endings (based on your performance). same thing for Sonic CD where when you didn't make a good future in the stages you get the bad ending, I honestly like it because it adds more replay value to the game and it adds this 'What if' factor to the game, anyway do you want to see more of this in future games?
