    Super Mario 64

Here you can post your Super Mario 64 times. Some categories are: 16 Star, 70 Star, and the whopping 120 Star.

16 Star - Time begins on reset, time ends when the "grand star" is when you beat Bowser 3. You must beat the game with 16 stars. Not 15, not 17, but 16. Remember: in this category, 16 = 70.

70 Star - Time begins on reset, time ends when you get "Hyper" Bowser's star.

120 Star - Time begins on reset, time ends when you throw a multi-colored turtle-lizard thing into a bomb 3 times and steal its unusually large star that somehow has eyes.

When you want to report a time, you MUST link a video as proof. When I verify it, I will update the spreadsheet (yeah, I'm going there), and it should be updated daily.
I'll mainly do the 16 star run since I have the intention span of a goldfish.
I'm gonna say that this is my PB because I don't have my proof of my sub 30 time.
You can also do a 31 star run. Same rules apply, time begins on reset, ends on Grand Star pickup. Here's the last one I did, I'm still bad at the game either way.

"Can I play on an emulator?
If the emulator is accurate and the community for that game accepts the emulator as a valid choice, then yes, you can." (Speedrunslive.com's FAQ)
    "Project64 2.x is banned" (Speedrunslive.com's FAQ)
Any usage of cheat codes, even if they're in-game ones, turbo functions, and save states on emulators are completely banned.

For more info on all of this, have a gander at this: http://speedrunslive.com/faq/

If anybody has any questions about the category guidelines, or just in general about this game, you can PM me.
Good luck to all and happy running!

Emulators speed must be consistent with console speed, sorry.

I need to practice a bunch of stars, but I got the Mips Clip and the BLJ through the 50 star door first try, but I was so tired when I did it that I actually got a game over during Bowser 3. That was a great night.

You could also use an older version of PJ64 (I prefer 1.6 myself)

Eh, not really a fan of emulators unless I'm playing with friends through netplay.

I think P64 1.7 is the closest to the N64... Could be wrong though.

1.7 used to be okay for me, until I Played Majora's Mask on it, then from then on it bugged out on basically everygame, so I now use 1.6
(I also apparently ended up with a leaked beta of 1.7, so that could be it too)
